Budget Safari

A budget safari in Tanzania is still a fantastic experience where you get the chance to admire the animals in their natural habitat. Please do not be discouraged by the word budget. This absolutely does not mean that the experience will be of a lower quality or that you will see fewer animals. The only differences are that on a budget safari, you share the jeep with other travellers. Although you share the safari, you will always be guaranteed a window seat.

As for accommodation, you will sleep in a tent. Depending on the company you travel with, camps can be located either inside or outside the national parks. All providers have different types of tents. Some tents have a mattress on the floor. There are showers and toilets at the campsites. In some tented camps, there is electricity thanks to solar panels where you can charge your camera and mobile phone. Many jeeps are also equipped with charging facilities for your electronic devices. However, this is not guaranteed for budget safaris.

A budget safari will always include the following:
- 4×4 transport
- Basic accommodation in camps
- 3 meals a day
- A guide and a cook
- All the park fees
- Bottled water
