    In Mkuu village, you'll also have the opportunity to explore Chagga cultural artifacts that chronicle the historical development and technological prowess of the tribe.     Your journey will then take you to a remarkable Chagga bolt hole, a man-made cave that served as a sanctuary for the Chagga people during tumultuous times.     As you stroll through the forest, you'll encounter the charming Colobus guereza and Sykes Monkeys, indigenous to this region. Additionally, you'll discover native trees with traditional medicinal uses, deepening your connection to the local culture and their use of natural resources.

    During your exploration, take a moment to witness rice farming and enjoy the refreshing taste of coconut water. A hot, locally prepared lunch will energize you for the day ahead.
