Explore the historical development of Chagga people and their technological advancements through cultural artifacts. Visit the Chagga bolt hole, a man-made cave with a storied past, and learn about the pre-war techniques used by the Chagga. Your cultural journey continues with a visit to a banana beer family, where you'll witness the production process and have the opportunity to taste this local brew. Afterward, savor a hot local lunch and prepare for a taste of the village nightlife at local pubs. Your first day concludes with an overnight stay in Mkuu village, offering an authentic cultural experience.

Your excursion takes you to Rau groundwater forest reserve, part of Rau Forest, where you can enjoy the natural beauty and fresh air. This forest is home to Colobus guereza and Sykes Monkeys, and you'll have the chance to witness native trees with traditional medicinal properties. Experience rice farming, enjoy the taste of coconut water, and savor a hot local lunch. Following your meal, participate in a meaningful campaign: One Trip - One Tree, where you can plant your own tree to protect the environment, fight climate change, and absorb carbon dioxide. As the day transitions to evening, engage in a Moshi town night tour. Your day concludes with an overnight stay and dinner at homestays in Moshi village.
